Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("Client") and Dalila Hairdressing ("Salon", "we", "us", "our") governing your use of our salon services and website. By booking an appointment, visiting our salon, or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms. The site and services are intended for users aged 18 and over, or minors accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Salon Services Terms
Appointments and Bookings
All appointments are subject to availability and confirmation. By booking an appointment, you enter into a contract for services. Appointments can be made online, by phone, or in person.
Cancellation and No-Show Policy
- Cancellations: Must be made at least 24 hours in advance by phone or email
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before your appointment may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the scheduled service cost
- No-Shows: Failure to attend your appointment without notice will result in a charge of 100% of the scheduled service cost
- Late Arrivals: Arriving more than 15 minutes late may result in service refusal, rescheduling, or reduced service time. Full charges apply
- Repeated Violations: We reserve the right to refuse future bookings for clients with repeated cancellations or no-shows
- Deposits: A non-refundable deposit may be required for certain services or first-time clients. Deposits will be applied to your final bill upon completion of service
Payment Terms
- Payment is due in full at the time services are rendered
- We accept cash, credit cards, and debit cards
- All prices are in Euros (€) and include VAT where applicable
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- Additional charges may apply for extra-long, thick, or difficult hair, or if additional products are required
- Final pricing will be confirmed during consultation before services begin
Client Responsibilities and Representations
Mandatory Disclosures
Clients must disclose the following information before services are performed:
- All previous chemical treatments, relaxers, perms, or color services performed within the last 12 months
- Any allergies, sensitivities, or adverse reactions to hair products, chemicals, or treatments
- Current medications that may affect hair or scalp condition
- Medical conditions including but not limited to: pregnancy, chemotherapy treatment, alopecia, scalp conditions, blood disorders, or any condition affecting hair growth or scalp health
- Use of henna, metallic dyes, or box color products
- Recent surgery or medical procedures
- Any hair extensions, weaves, or hairpieces currently worn
FAILURE TO DISCLOSE RELEVANT INFORMATION MAY RESULT IN ADVERSE REACTIONS, HAIR DAMAGE, OR UNSATISFACTORY RESULTS. THE SALON WILL NOT BE HELD LIABLE FOR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM CLIENT'S FAILURE TO DISCLOSE INFORMATION.
Client Warranty
By using our services, you warrant that:
- All information provided is truthful, accurate, and complete
- You do not have any undisclosed allergies or medical conditions that could be affected by salon services
- You will inform your stylist immediately if you experience any discomfort during treatment
- You are not pregnant or breastfeeding without first consulting your physician (for chemical services)
- You are legally capable of entering into binding contracts
Service Disclaimers and Limitations
Consultation Requirement
A consultation is mandatory before all color and chemical services. During consultation, we will discuss desired results, assess hair condition, review hair history, and recommend appropriate treatments. Clients must be honest during consultation. Withholding information voids all warranties and liability protections.
Patch Test Requirement
For all color services, chemical treatments, and first-time clients, we strongly recommend a patch test 48 hours prior to your appointment. By declining a patch test, you assume all risk of allergic reaction, irritation, or adverse effects. The Salon will not be liable for reactions when a patch test was declined.
Results and Expectations
Hair styling and coloring are art forms, and results may vary based on individual factors including:
- Natural hair color, texture, porosity, and condition
- Previous chemical treatments and damage
- Hair density and thickness
- Environmental factors and water quality
- At-home maintenance and product use
- Individual body chemistry
We cannot guarantee exact color matching, identical results to photos, or that hair will lift to a specific level. Photos shown are examples only and not guarantees of results. Natural hair limitations may prevent achieving certain colors or styles.
Color Services Disclaimer
Lightening and coloring processes carry inherent risks including:
- Hair breakage or loss
- Scalp irritation or burns
- Allergic reactions
- Uneven color results
- Color fading or change over time
- Dryness or damage to hair
BY PROCEEDING WITH COLOR SERVICES, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THESE RISKS AND AGREE THAT THE SALON IS NOT LIABLE FOR THESE OUTCOMES WHEN SERVICES ARE PERFORMED WITH REASONABLE CARE AND SKILL.
Limitation of Liability
No Liability for Pre-Existing Conditions
The Salon is not responsible for:
- Pre-existing hair damage from previous treatments
- Hair breakage due to over-processing from previous services not performed at our salon
- Conditions resulting from undisclosed medical issues or medications
- Allergic reactions when patch test was declined
- Results affected by undisclosed previous chemical treatments
- Damage from at-home treatments, box color, or henna
- Natural hair loss or thinning
- Genetic or medical hair/scalp conditions
Maximum Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SALON'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
The Salon is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
- Lost wages, emotional distress, or pain and suffering
- Third-party claims or damages
- Cost of corrective services performed elsewhere
Correction Window
If you are not satisfied with your service, you must notify us within 7 days. We will assess the issue and may offer to correct the service at no charge. This is your sole remedy. After 7 days, or if you have the service corrected elsewhere, we have no further obligation.
Corrections must be performed by the original stylist or salon manager. We are not responsible for corrections performed by other salons or stylists.
Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk
BY USING OUR SERVICES, YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE TO RELEASE, INDEMNIFY, AND HOLD HARMLESS DALILA HAIRDRESSING, ITS OWNERS, STYLISTS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, LIABILITIES, DAMAGES, OR EXPENSES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO SALON SERVICES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Allergic reactions to products or chemicals
- Hair damage, breakage, or loss
- Scalp burns or irritation
- Unsatisfactory color results or application
- Adverse reactions to treatments
- Slip, trip, or fall accidents on premises
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Any other injury or damage arising from salon services
YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH HAIR AND BEAUTY SERVICES AND ACKNOWLEDGE THAT SUCH SERVICES CARRY INHERENT RISKS THAT CANNOT BE COMPLETELY ELIMINATED.
Product and Aftercare
Professional Products
We use professional-grade products. Results may be affected by at-home product use. We are not responsible for color fading, damage, or adverse effects caused by use of non-professional or incompatible products after leaving the salon.
Aftercare Instructions
Clients must follow all aftercare instructions provided. Failure to follow aftercare instructions voids all warranties and guarantees. This includes but is not limited to:
- Waiting appropriate time before washing hair
- Using recommended products only
- Avoiding heat styling as directed
- Scheduling recommended maintenance appointments
- Avoiding chlorine, salt water, or other chemicals as directed
Photography and Social Media Consent
We may photograph your hairstyle for our portfolio, website, social media, or marketing materials. By using our services, you grant us permission to use your likeness in such materials. You may decline photography at any time, and we will not use your images. Images will not include personally identifiable information without explicit additional consent.
If you do not consent to photography, please inform your stylist before services begin.
Minor Clients
Services for clients under 18 require a parent or legal guardian to be present during consultation and to sign consent forms. The parent or guardian assumes all responsibility and liability for services performed on minors.
- Chemical services (color, bleach, perms) for clients under 16 require written parental consent
- We reserve the right to refuse certain services to minors
- Parents must disclose all relevant medical information about minor clients
Health and Safety
Infectious Conditions
Clients with contagious conditions (head lice, scalp infections, open wounds, etc.) will be refused service. Please reschedule when the condition is resolved. No refunds or cancellation fees will apply in these circumstances if disclosed before the appointment.
Salon Environment
- The salon contains chemicals and products that may affect sensitive individuals
- Clients with respiratory conditions should disclose this before services
- Salon tools and equipment are sharp - children must be supervised at all times
- Floors may become wet or slippery - clients must exercise caution
Refund and Guarantee Policy
ALL SALES ARE FINAL. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS FOR SERVICES RENDERED.
If you are dissatisfied with services, we will attempt to correct the issue within 7 days at no additional charge. This correction is offered as a courtesy and is not a guarantee. We reserve the right to determine if correction is feasible without further damage to hair.
Refunds will not be issued for:
- Subjective dissatisfaction with style or color when service was performed as requested
- Results affected by undisclosed information
- Color fading due to improper aftercare
- Services corrected elsewhere without our authorization
- Claims made more than 7 days after service
Gift Vouchers and Promotions
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from date of purchase
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Multiple vouchers can be used in one transaction
- Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed or extended
- Promotional offers cannot be combined unless explicitly stated
- We reserve the right to modify or cancel promotions at any time
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, excluding the United Nations Convention on International Goods Sales. Any disputes arising from salon services or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Noord Holland, Netherlands.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining Terms remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dalila Hairdressing regarding salon services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and representations.
Website Terms of Use
Intellectual Property Rights
All site content—including source code, databases, designs, audio, video, text, photos, and graphics—remains company property or licensed material, protected by copyright and trademark law.
Users receive limited licenses for personal, non-commercial access only. Commercial exploitation, reproduction, or distribution requires explicit written permission. The company retains all unexpressed rights.
User Representations for Website Use
By registering, users warrant that:
- Registration information is truthful, accurate, and current
- They maintain registration accuracy and promptly update details
- They possess legal capacity and comply with terms
- They're adults in their jurisdiction
- They avoid automated access methods
- They won't use the site illegally
- Their usage complies with applicable law
False information results in account suspension or termination.
User Registration
Users must maintain password confidentiality and bear responsibility for account usage. The company may remove or modify usernames deemed inappropriate at its discretion.
Prohibited Activities
Users cannot:
- Systematically retrieve data or compile databases without permission
- Defraud or deceive users or the company
- Bypass security features
- Harm the company's reputation
- Harass or abuse others using site information
- Misuse support services
- Violate applicable laws
- Advertise goods or services
- Upload viruses or disruptive material
- Engage in automated system use
- Remove copyright notices or impersonate others
- Transmit spyware or tracking devices
- Disrupt site functionality
- Harass company employees
- Bypass access restrictions
- Copy or reverse-engineer site software

User Generated Contributions

Users warrant contributions:

- Are original or properly licensed
- Have necessary consents from identifiable individuals
- Aren't false or misleading
- Aren't unsolicited advertising or spam
- Aren't obscene, violent, or harassing
- Don't ridicule or abuse anyone
- Don't threaten or promote violence
- Comply with applicable law
- Don't violate privacy rights
- Don't exploit minors
- Don't contain offensive race, origin, gender, preference, or handicap references
- Don't violate terms provisions
Violations may result in termination or suspension.
Contribution License
By posting content, users automatically grant perpetual, unlimited, irrevocable, worldwide rights for reproduction, distribution, modification, and commercial use. Users waive moral rights and retain ownership while accepting full responsibility for accuracy and claims.
The company maintains discretion to edit, recategorize, or delete contributions without notice.
Guidelines for Reviews
Review submissions require:
- Firsthand experience with reviewed subjects
- No profanity or abusive language
- No discriminatory references regarding religion, race, gender, origin, age, marital status, orientation, or disability
- No illegal activity references
- No competitor affiliation for negative reviews
- No legal conclusions
- No false statements
- No review campaigns
The company may accept or reject reviews without obligation or liability.
Submissions
Questions, comments, suggestions, and feedback become company property with exclusive intellectual property rights. Users waive moral rights and warrant originality or proper authorization.
Third-Party Website and Content
The company doesn't investigate or monitor external links or content. Third-party sites aren't endorsed, and the company assumes no responsibility for their accuracy, appropriateness, or legality. Users access external sites at their own risk.
Site Management
The company reserves rights to monitor terms violations, take legal action, refuse access, remove excessive files, and manage site operation to protect its interests and facilitate proper functioning.
Privacy Policy
Users agree to the Privacy Policy at https://dalilahairdressing.com/privacy, incorporated into these terms. The site operates from the United States; international users consent to data transfer and processing there.
Copyright Infringements
The company respects intellectual property. Infringement claims require immediate notification with contact information. Claimants may face liability for false representations.
Term and Termination
Terms remain effective during site usage. The company reserves absolute discretion to deny access or delete accounts without notice or liability for any reason. Users cannot re-register under alternate names following termination.
Modifications and Interruptions
The company reserves rights to modify or remove content, suspend services, or discontinue operations without notice or liability. No obligation exists to update information or maintain availability.
Governing Law
Netherlands law governs these terms, excluding the United Nations Convention on International Goods Sales. EU consumers receive mandatory resident-country protections. Both parties submit to Noord Holland courts' non-exclusive jurisdiction.
Dispute Resolution
Informal Negotiations
Parties must attempt informal resolution for minimum 30 days before arbitration.
Binding Arbitration
Disputes proceed through European Court of Arbitration (Strasbourg) with one arbitrator. The seat is Almere, Netherlands, with English proceedings and Netherlands substantive law.
Restrictions
Arbitration remains between individual parties only—no class actions or representative proceedings permitted.
Exceptions
Intellectual property disputes, theft allegations, privacy violations, and injunctive relief claims aren't subject to arbitration.
Corrections
The company reserves rights to correct typographical errors, inaccuracies, and omissions without notice.
Disclaimer
The site operates "as-is" and "as-available." The company disclaims all warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, and performance. No liability exists for content errors, property damage, unauthorized access, transmission interruptions, viruses, or third-party products/services.
Limitations of Liability
The company and associated parties assume no liability for direct, indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits or data.
Indemnification
